What is meant by organic agriculture?

           Organic Agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems, and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects.

Who Accredits Organic Farmers in the Philippines?


The Organic Agriculture Act of 2010 (Republic Act No. 10068). 

        The Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Product Standards is the authority responsible for granting official accreditation to organic certifying bodies and entities, and for the registration of organic food and organic input producers.
